Introduction: Hello everyone! I joined this group because I had never actually met an Objectivist in real life before-hand. The experience has been incredibly positive and rewarding for me. The meetups are always fun and intellectually stimulating.
Please tell us about your work, like whether you are in school or college or about your job, career, or business.: I am an assistant teacher in a Montessori Elementary classroom. Someday, my wife and I hope to run our own school together.
Please tell us about your interests, like what you like to do in your spare time or for relaxation or vacation.: I have a chronic problem of having more interests than time. I am interested in science-fiction, and shooting of all sorts. I enjoy wine-making though it has been a few years since I made a batch. I have a large garden and a small herd of goats too.
Please tell us about yourself, like whether you are married or have children.: I am married, but no kids for now.
How did you first learn about Ayn Rand and Objectivism?: My 8th grade teacher made my class read Anthem. I forgot about it until after my wife Emily said I should read Atlas Shrugged right before I started college in 2001.
