What are some good places to hold meetings? My group has been meeting in a small restaurant/bar. We have meetings sized 4-6 people, but in the coming months we expect the number to climb to 10 or more. We will have to change settings, so I'm asking for advice on good meeting places. We've discussed using member apartments and the public library. We've also looked into reserving a room at a city college. So for those of you with city based meetups, have any advice on a good venue?

Yes, a church basement. Those religious folk are always willing to help others. :}

Mike, nobody is responding. It seems like you are not getting your money's worth.

I got email replies. No one wants to be heckled by you. Especially on a thread you aren't contributing to constructively.

The 'caricatures of Ayn Rand' post is very insightful if you give it half a chance. I don't heckle people that I don't know, or who haven't addressed me. Where did you get that idea?
